I am blessed that my parents have no problems with regards to having food on the table, buying me new clothes and even putting a roof over my head, and the majority of you reading this will be in a similar position to me. During lockdown and being quarantined at home I have had the time to reflect upon how I can better myself as a person and make an even better, more positive impact in our world and I have been amazed and proud to see my friends voice and share their concerns with regards to the situation in Yemen. COVID- 19 is spreading at an alarming rate 3. 3.6 million people have been forced out their own houses 4. 1.8 million children have died 5. More than 2 million children have lost access to education 6. 3 million women and girls are at risk of gender- based abuse Please do your bit and help me donate money to The International Rescue Committee They will deliver: essential medication, PPE, medical equipment, trained staff for cholera, healthcare to people at risk, life saving COVID- 19 treatment, access to education for the younger population and most importantly of all, general safety. We go about our daily lives and a lot of us don't take one moment out of the day to appreciate what we have been given.
