• Computation Fluid Dynamics Group Project: Using Star CCM+, Modelled the lift and drag coefficient reports for three distinct aerofoils using appropriate meshing and physics models to compare analytically on the most efficient aerofoil design. • Finite Element Analysis Group Project: Designed and simulated stress models for a steel pressure vessel for underwater use using ANSYS Mechanical APDL. • MSc Individual Project: Compared and evaluated the manufacturing methods for injection moulding mould, particularly the differences between traditional CNC machining and Direct Metal Laser Sintering. Focusing on the material selection, thermal analysis and mechanical equivalent stress analysis. The analyses are executed using ANSYS Workbench and the model used for the analyses is modelled using P.T.C. Creo.

• Engineering Design Project 1: Designed, produced and tested a model glider. • Engineering Design Project 2: Compiled a working file on design improvements for a lifting device used by an electron beam welding machine. Communicated ideas using sketches and 3D models mocked up using PTC Creo and AutoCAD. • Engineering Design Project 3: Evaluated all necessary calculations and designed a working gearbox using given specifications to achieve the most efficient, cost effective design solution.
