Myself, Ashutosh Pandey, B.Tech in Mineral Processing Engineering from Indian School of mines, Dhanbad (India) would like to seek an international position that would add value to upstream Coal beneficiation business and add variety to my exposure. I have undergone eleven years of diverse work experience of managing coal handling and processing plant operations, feasibility studies, installation and commissioning of washery projects, improvement of existing plant flow sheets, different enhancement programs , and all three police initiative related to Environment, Safety (DuPont principle),process safety and risk management (PSRM) ,Occupational Health & Quality in India. My present responsibility of handling operations of a 7 MTPA coal handling and process plant as Senior Manager in TATA Steel has enriched my experience by driving my involvement in multidimensional areas that includes analysis of operation parameters and providing concurrent developments for stabilization and improvement, ensuring quality parameters and production deadlines, developing safety tools and procedures to man power management. It has been my privilege to be an integral part of the teams here responsible for increasing the yield and quality by installation of VBF circuit, lab based and pilot scale trial for reflux classifier installed at a later stage and installation of Plant based Information System for continuous monitoring and control. I have also been awarded and applauded for conducting plant scale trial for analysis of bubble loading with developing bubble loading measuring arrangement in collaboration with Prof. Michael Moys for ameliorating the performance of flotation cell. I have participated as active team member for achieving Deming grand prize (DGP) for company . I have written multiple technical papers based on the operational/project experience. Those were published for different International seminars

• Ensuring statutory compliance with procedures, acts and adherence to all relevant Standards. • Feasibility study by analyzing of borehole washability data using mathematical model, done liberation study, different release analysis. Estimate seam wise clean coal , middling & reject yield • Analyses of seam wise Near gravity material, washability index, washability number, yield reduction factor based on the desired quality of clean coal. • Member of core committee for process circuit development. and equipment selection based on washability analyses (NGM, WI,WN, Yield reduction factor , Ep , Flotation release analyses ) • Member of core team for plant commissioning , develop Standard operating procedure for improving stability and conformity of operation • A member of project for exploring and commissions Pipe conveyor for transportation clean coal up to 8.4 KM to Power Plant area • Ensuring project works are conducted within the Health, Safety and Environmental Systems of Jindal steel & Power Ltd • Took statutory responsibility of project imposed by Director General Mine Safety, Gov. of India • Assisting with the management of both Contractors and Service Providers • Identify, initiate and deliver improvement projects. • Identify and report safety concern and improvement in site. • Work with HR Manager to Identify & provide training needs of staff employees. Additional responsibilities: • Member of Task force for scheme preparation of capital project “Opening of new block JPL” • Member of Core team to implement daily management at JSPL • Implement Safety Management System in the department • Driving Total Production Management in the department. • Co-ordinate Knowledge Management at coal beneficiation Sub-Community level.
