Built AI adoption strategy and drove adoption of AI tooling across the organization. * Built a global SRE organization from ground-up to provide 24x7 coverage. * Championed migration and re-architecture of Planet DDS services from data centers to Azure and improved availability by 90% * Working with Finance and Product teams, built COGS and margin metrics which helped set pricing for add-on features. * Built unified data strategy for the company which allowed Planet DDS to track and publish industry trends.

My teams led the digital transformation of eCommerce at GoDaddy. We built the eCommerce catalog and machine-learning (ML) based pricing and discounting strategies targeting growth and retention of customers. My teams orchestrated migration of critical services from data center to AWS Resulting in infrastructure cost reduction of 17%. My teams also owned the eCommerce data warehouse and managed the AWS infrastructure that runs all of this.

l led the teams responsible for managing the User and Messaging data at Snap. Developed multi-cloud strategy for storage, caching, and analytics of data. Drove adoption of unified storage and caching platforms across Snap. By refactoring monolithic architecture to a multi-cloud, service-oriented architecture, my teams brought down cloud infrastructure costs by 30% YoY. Services built by my teams serve as the backbone of Snap and operate at multimillion QPS. Partnered with leaders across the company to establish operational rigor across Snap with a weekly leadership operational review. Owned AWS and GCP account management and multimillion-dollar spend across the two infrastructure providers.

Founding engineering manager on the team that launched Aurora PostgreSQL database. My teams owned manageability, high availability, replication, monitoring, quality, CI/CD, release, and capacity planning. Notable features we launched include Aurora Serverless and Aurora Global database.  Before this, owned the e-Commerce stack for Woot.com, an Amazon subsidiary. Led a cross-functional org spread across Seattle, Dallas, and Hyderabad. I led the engineering launch of merch.amazon.com, a platform for manufacturing and selling custom merchandise directly to customers. We grew production to 10X within 4 months of release and built an architecture to grow the scale 40x within a year.

Owned OneNote Data storage, Search, and Indexing. Put together team that built the backend of the OneNote Service. We designed and delivered V1 of a high scale indexing service and corresponding search and query API in collaboration with Azure CosmosDB and Bing. The service indexed billions of OneNote notebooks stored in OneDrive and powered content search in Windows OS.

Architect of analytics features for SharePoint 2010. Designed data warehouse and middle-tier ETL process to handle thousands of site usage activity logs per second. Designed classifier to analyze search result usage data to improve SharePoint Search and generate a "best bet" result. Scaled SharePoint 2013 to support large institutions. Managed the team of 5 engineers that designed a system for onboarding large tenants onto Office 365. My team’s work brought down provisioning time for large institutions by a factor of 8 while also bringing down average per user COGS by a factor of 10.  

Built CICD framework used by 100s of engineers within the WinFS and SQL Server organizations . Led test automation and Engineering Excellence efforts across the org. Built storage volume management features for WinFS.
