Developing internal and customer facing Web Software & Systems.

In September 2023, I was given the opportunity to officially manage the quoting side our Klaes Fenestration Software, This involved supporting reworking our quoting workflow to better integrate with the software, as well as managing our profile databases and configuration libraries. During this time I provided support & training to my colleagues whenever required, or whenever issues arose. I also provided support and assistance to colleagues with our CRM software, excel, and other IT related solutions.

In September 2023, I was given the opportunity to take up a Senior Role as a Residential Estimator, This involved managing the uPVC estimation team, training new estimators and delegating tasks. During this time I designed and then carried out a revamp to our uPVC Quoting Workflow & Software to greatly improve the quoting process and increase efficiency.

In 2023 I was given the Opportunity to specialize in our uPVC suites & software, I took up this opportunity and learnt to develop and maintain our Klaes Software for quoting as well as learning how to Value Engineer customers projects to help them keep their costs down.

In November 2021, I was given the opportunity to begin a full-time Project Estimator role as a school leaver. I continued in this role as a junior for 1 year and 2 months. During this period I learnt the core duties of a Project Estimator within a Window and Door company. This consisted of: Understanding Building Code Clauses (Where relevant to my Industry) Understanding our Window Suites & Profiles Conducting Plan Take-Offs Using Fenestration Software (LogiKal) Daily Reporting Using CRM Software Using Microsoft Outlook Using Microsoft Excel

In December 2020 I was generously offered the opportunity to conduct part-time school holiday work, I took up this offer in the start of 2021, and continued to work part-time during school holidays. During this time I had the privileges' of working both in the factory, and in the office. Some of the tasks I undertook consisted of: Sanding Aluminum Profiles Picking Aluminum Profiles Loading Trolleys Loading Powder Coating Line Cleaning Jigs Prepping Profiles for Assembly Assembling Windows Glazing Windows Stocktake Optimizing Profile Codes Optimizing Profile Storage Reallocating Profile Bays

Outside of my working hours, I like to spend my time volunteering with RRT to help provide humanitarian aid, and help those in need.

In 2020, I was offered the opportunity of being one of the first students in the Year 12 year-group to trial the Work Ready Program as an extra-curricular opportunity in addition to my chosen subjects. This program involved attending the workplace 1 day every second week, while enrolled in this program I learnt how to complete tasks. Some of these tasks consisted of: Cleaning Shelving Profiles Unloading & Loading Pallets Wrapping Pallets Cold Calling Customers Following up Customers Calling Customers for Feedback Researching Potential Customers Creating Excel Spreadsheets
