- Led Zoho's Payments & Banking vertical across global markets. - Introduced Connected Banking (Banking-as-a-Service), in partnership with several leading banks, embedding banking within ERP and extending ERP into banking portals. This democratised access and accelerated SME adoption at scale - Played a key role in forging strategic partnerships with card networks, banks, and financial institutions. - Led the US launch of Zoho Payments, creating a repeatable framework for global expansion while overseeing product, technology, partnerships, and fraud & risk management. - Directed the creation of Payments Detective, a fraud detection and risk management platform inspired by the same test-everything philosophy behind Detective. - Spearheaded the setup of Zoho Payment Technologies, obtaining RBI Payment Aggregator authorization, and launching operations. - Oversaw the India launch of Zoho Payments, working closely with regulators, banks, and ecosystem partners to ensure compliance and build a scalable foundation for growth.

- Conceived and launched Detective, an investigative analysis platform built on a test-everything philosophy, which detects and prevents bugs across the entire application stack – APIs, code, queries, databases, cache, asynchronous jobs, performance, and security. Today, it performs over 200 million comparisons per branch merge as a critical CI/CD platform. - Introduced Prestige, a contextual investigative analysis platform that detected performance issues during development. - Developed Device Fingerprinting for fraud detection, which laid the foundation for Payments Detective. - Led the Finance & Operation BU’s Framework team, developing architectures and frameworks that improved performance, scalability, and developer productivity. - Executed platform-wide data integrity initiatives, improving accuracy and reliability of financial data. These challenges later led to creation of Detective. - Unified databases, codebases, and deployment architecture across Finance & Operations BU apps, creating a single-database-multiple-apps architecture that improved efficiency, enabled pre-integrated products, and accelerated feature and new product rollouts.

- Contributed to launch of our accounting product, building core features in Banking, AR/AP, and multi-organization support. - Developed core frameworks, including a single-click migration from Zoho Invoice to Zoho Books. Later, eliminated the entire migration by unifying and merging the application, databases and deployment. - Led various application and database performance initiatives across the platform. Insights from this ultimately led to the conceptualization of Prestige.
