As the GM(works) my role ranged from Operations of existing unit for High Qulaity /High RCT testliner production and identifying & leading all cost reduction projects. During my tenure,i have been instrumental in making unit a profit centre for the company by introducing process optimization and best practices.Lead the team for setting up 5S in the company and sucessfully implemented the management's ideology of scientic management of work systems. I was also responsile for Project execution of New unit of Testliner and Medium.

A certified CHARTERED ENGINEER C Eng (INDIA) engaged in OPERATIONS of packaging paper manufacturing division of the COMPANY. The role involved conversion of Newsprint/ W&P paper Mill into a Container Board Mill for the Production of Testliner and Medium.

My role reponsibilty included establishing the Mill as a profit centre by implementing best practices and providing the conducive working atmoshere to the Managers and workmen. It was a 200TPD Multilayer High RCT liner board and Medium manufacturing Mill. My reporting was to MD. The respective General Managers of all departments reporting to me. The introduction of Quality circles and Predictive maintenance was sucessfully achieved in the Mill.

Responsible for establishing the mill as a HIGH RCT HIGH BF manufacturer. It is one of the trend setters of Twin Wire Paper Machine in western region. Emerged as Quality Container Board (Test liner and Medium) Mill catering to FMCG and Industrial corrugators of high repute. Additionally Responsible to set up the Supply chain Management in to the system and deligated the same to Procurement Manager and Sales Managers after streamlining.
