Ashmita Dhawan

🌿 I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO), currently practicing in Canada. With over eight years of experience in clinical psychology and workplace mental health, both in India and Canada, I bring a culturally informed and compassionate approach to therapy. My practice integrates evidence-based modalities including cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), solution-focused brief therapy (SFBT), single-session therapy, mindfulness-based approaches, and gestalt therapy. I support individuals navigating stress, anxiety, relationship challenges, workplace issues, life transitions, trauma, grief, and loss. Previously, I co-founded Talk Nest, a mental health organization in India, where I continue to serve as a consultant psychologist. My professional journey spans hospitals, government and community mental health centres, workplaces, and private practice, allowing me to connect with clients across diverse backgrounds and life stages. I am passionate about fostering safe, non-judgmental, and empowering spaces for clients to explore their experiences and achieve meaningful personal growth.
