Ashley Yablon

I’m a lawyer, a leader, an educator, and a Truth Champion. With over 23 years of experience as an attorney, including 18 years of in-house general counsel experience, I am a hands-on corporate executive with a proven ability to provide proactive leadership with a pragmatic business approach. In pursuit of my goal of becoming general counsel for a major corporation, I spent years gaining experience across a range of legal disciplines. In 2011, I became GC to one of the largest telecommunications companies in the world, ZTE. Not long after landing my dream career, I discovered ZTE was deliberately and intentionally breaking US law, and I was now in the middle of one of the largest tech scandals to ever hit the United States. Sitting in an FBI conference room thinking, “How did I get here?,” I put everything on the line – including my life – to stand up for my country. It has become a mission of mine to lead and educate people in doing what is right, even if that means risking it all. My story serves as a reminder that one can be a corporate attorney and an ethical human at the same time. My experiences will help guide you to become proactive in doing what is right when you face moral dilemmas in your own careers. As our environment continues to evolve and globalization becomes increasingly prominent, I can provide guidance on how to gracefully manage the dynamics of your organization.
