As a recent university graduate and a fresh addition to the work force, I am a hardworking young woman who dedicates myself to each of my projects and goals. While my collegiate studies focused on historical research and analytical writing, my career training and on-site education has focused on business travel and financial systems. Not one to shy away from a challenge, I have embraced my new field with open arms and have sought to learn the ins and outs of corporate travel and financial operations at a mid-sized international company. A long term goal is to find a career that allows me to work with individuals at each level of the corporate structure in order to create a truly global travel program that streamlines global operations and improves the bottom line.

During fall quarter of my junior year, I studied in Washington, D.C. through the CAPPP Quarter in Washington Program. As a senior, I conducted an original research project for the History Department Senior Honors Thesis Program. My thesis examined the Civil War Sesquicentennial in Tennessee to determine how the state chose to celebrate and commemorate the Civil War at its 150th anniversary. I graduated a quarter early from UCLA with College Honors, Highest Departmental Honors and Magna Cum Laude.
