I was under the supervision of Senior Engineer Trevor Hall and also Alex Paran (Senior Draftsman). * Both my supervisors gave me an in depth knowledge of the work that occurs both on and off construction sites. Trevor shared his experienced knowledge of: * Site inspection * Dealing with clients * Designing (retaining walls, mechanical joints, steel trusses, steel frames in houses) * Detailed hand drawings * While, Alex helped me with the understanding and also learning of the software Auto CAD. * In the short time I spent at this firm I learnt a lot due to my helpful supervisors.

Activities and Societies: State Relay Runner

For the final year cap stone project in the group of three people, we designed a Sustainable House. For this project I was assigned the role as a Project Engineer and the role of a Design Engineer. I had to manage the group performance and decide the deadlines of each of the milestones needed to be reached to successfully finish the project to the highest standard, while also designing the floor plans and also the structural analysis of the Sustainable House's Roof. This project gave me a brief insight of what is the required responsibility of a Project Engineer in the real world situations and how to deal with unanimous situations that arose while completing this challenging project. In the end as a group we achieved a mark of 80/100, for the design of the Sustainable House. Activities and Societies: Member of Engineers Australia
