In my role as an Sr. Receivable Accountant, I am responsible for managing the full cycle of receivables across multiple business channels, including insurance, online platforms, and retail operations. My day-to-day work revolves around ensuring that every transaction—from invoicing to final collection—is accurately recorded and properly reconciled. I work closely with bank partners and payment providers to monitor card settlements and identify any discrepancies, making sure that collections are aligned with financial records. A key part of my role is analyzing outstanding balances, following up with stakeholders, and driving timely collections to maintain healthy cash flow. Alongside this, I handle regular reconciliations of cash, POS, and bank accounts, while also supporting month-end closing activities through journal entries, accruals, and adjustments. I contribute to VAT compliance by assisting in reconciliations and preparing data required for tax filings. My role also involves collaborating with internal teams, auditors, and store operations to resolve issues, support audits, and ensure accurate financial reporting across multiple locations. Through detailed analysis and continuous follow-ups, I aim to bring clarity to financial data and strengthen the overall receivable process.

I started my professional journey in the UAE with Ishraq Home Health Care, where I took on the responsibility of managing the complete financial operations across three entities. In this role, I was deeply involved in handling end-to-end accounting activities, ensuring that all financial transactions were accurately recorded and aligned with reporting standards. From day one, I managed core accounting functions including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting. I was responsible for maintaining the integrity of financial data, preparing reports, and supporting management with clear insights into the financial performance of the business. Working across multiple entities gave me strong exposure to handling complex financial structures, coordinating between different business units, and ensuring consistency in accounting practices. I also contributed to month-end closing activities, monitored financial records, ensured compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements, and actively supported the audit process by preparing schedules, documentation, and liaising with auditors to ensure smooth and accurate audit completion. This role laid the foundation of my career in the UAE, where I developed a strong understanding of financial operations, attention to detail, and the ability to manage responsibilities independently within a fast-paced healthcare environment.
