Responsible for project engineering, construction management, and supervision for municipal infrastructure, land development, and capital projects related to roads, water, sewer storm water, culvert, bridges, street light and public works and facilities maintenance within the Development and Infrastructure division. My responsibilities include planning and managing infrastructure and Capital projects from scoping and conceptual design to feasibility analysis. I analyze planning proposals, negotiate with applicants, and exercise discretionary authority in consultation with the Manager, conducting inspections as needed. Oversee the execution of Capital project construction, ensuring progress, quality, and safety performance. I develop project budgets, manage the project's accounting process, report on variances, and complete funding or grant applications. Additionally, I prepare and review requests for proposals and tender documents to support projects. Conduct feasibility, define project scope, conduct design reviews, manage land acquisition, permitting, construction coordination, and administration. I also perform site inspections, manage change orders, monitor financials, and review and accept as-built drawings.
