Hello! I am Dr Asad Ullah, an enthusiastic and committed associate professor in the School of Information Engineering at Xi’An Eurasia University. Over the years, I have gained extensive experience teaching and conducting research, fuelling my passion for academia and fostering a positive learning environment. I earned a PhD in Information Engineering from Chang’An University, where I established a strong foundation in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Image Processing. My research revolves around road crack segmentation and classification, and I have made significant contributions to the field. My primary interest lies in image processing, and I am dedicated to consistently contributing to the progress of knowledge in this area. Throughout my academic journey, I have had the opportunity to teach a diverse range of courses at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. Central to my teaching philosophy is the promotion of critical thinking, the encouragement of intellectual curiosity, and the establishment of a collaborative learning environment. Recognizing the significance of catering to different learning styles, I prioritize adapting teaching strategies and creating engaging classroom experiences. Additionally, I have mentored and supervised undergraduate and graduate students, providing guidance and support in their research projects and facilitating their professional growth. I am enthusiastic about engaging with students, fostering critical inquiry, and facilitating interdisciplinary learning.

(NTC is National Technology Council) • Delivering lectures, conducting laboratory, sessions discussion groups, Preparing, administering, and grading examinations, laboratory assignments, and reports. • Advise students on the course and academic matters and career decisions. • Direct research programs for graduate students and advise on research matters. • Conducted research in the field of specialization and published findings in journals. • Represent my university as a speaker and guest lecturer as an FYP, such as Designing and Controlling Tower Crane Through PLC, etc.

Peer Review: Participated in the peer review process, providing constructive feedback on research papers submitted to journals and conferences. By critically evaluating the quality and validity of research, I tried to ensure the integrity of scientific publications and help maintain high standards of scholarship within the research community. Collaboration and Networking: I collaborated with fellow researchers, both within their own research society and across different institutions and disciplines. I was also involved in the Advocacy, Policy Engagement and Ethical Conduct societies.
