Provide technical leadership and process optimization support across all three fiberlines at Domtar’s Ashdown Mill, one of North America’s largest integrated pulp and paper facilities. I focus on: Process Optimization & Troubleshooting – Driving improvements in digester, screening, oxygen delignification, bleaching, and washing systems to enhance fiber quality, efficiency, and reliability. Cross-Fiberline Support – Delivering solutions and technical guidance across multiple production lines, ensuring consistency in operations and alignment with mill-wide performance targets. Continuous Improvement – Leading initiatives that reduce variability, optimize chemical usage, and increase throughput while maintaining product quality. Safety & Compliance – Supporting HAZOPs, risk assessments, and process safety management to uphold operational excellence and environmental responsibility. Focused on optimizing Fiberline operations, particularly the Kamyr continuous two-stage digester. Responsible for monitoring and analyzing process performance, troubleshooting issues, and implementing improvements to enhance production efficiency, reduce costs, and maintain product quality. Actively managed digester-level control, impregnation vessel performance, and key parameters such as MCC and BC temperatures to ensure process stability. Additionally, I conducted moisture and tensile strength analyses, correlating raw material properties like wood species and digester variables to product quality and led trials to improve pulp strength.

Engaged in extensive research and analysis, gaining insights into enhancing efficiency and minimizing environmental impact.
