Texas Analog Center of Excellence Lab Tools - Allegro PCB editor and Capture CIS ● Determining competitive differences between power IC processes, specifically concentrating on buck regulator designs. ● Comparing the output characteristics of chips from various manufacturers, and evaluating safe operating states, including breakdown, on-state characteristics and failure modes. ● Standalone adapter boards are unavailable for most of the chip packages being tested, so I designed PCB adaptor boards to enable testing of QFP, QFN and similar chip footprints. These were fabricated and are used in the testing the various devices.
