* 6 months research internship at ERCOM, a French Telecom manufacturer mainly focused on protocol convergence and interoperability of telecommunication networks. The main task of the internship is Modeling/Analyzing the LTE Scheduler and mobiles characterization using programming under linux environment. Objectives of the Internship: investigate “R” data mining programming language * define scheduler performance characterization model based on traces * implement the scheduler model using “R” language * test/validate the model using real eNB and real UEs.

Responsible for teaching Mathematical Analysis 1; both Italian-taught and English-taught Mathematical Analysis courses.

* The main project conducted during this internship was the design of a Polarizer in Circular Waveguide for the 45 GHz bandwidth. * The work also consisted in : * electromagnetic characterization of resonant cavities * deep study of the circular waveguides * measurements with Network Analyzer and validation of the results.

* Part of R&D Team. * C/C++ Development. * Unix Shell Scripting. * Follow 3GPP Change Request and update LTE PHY. * Evolve LTE Protocol Stack, particularly L1, Radio Interface and L2-L1 Interface. * Specify and implement new LTE PHY features. * Software verification and validation.

She is part of Communication and Network Theory group at Department of Engineering Science, University of Oxford. Her current research interests include information theory, spatial networks, random geometric graphs, graph entropy and wireless networks.
