At Hilton, I’ve had the opportunity to build and lead the Enterprise Architecture function, bringing together a talented team of business and data architects while fostering a culture grounded in integrity, trust, innovation, and performance. Our work has focused on creating strong enterprise standards and processes that translate business outcomes into clear requirements, strengthen alignment, and accelerate delivery. A major area of focus has been driving Hilton’s enterprise-wide AI enablement strategy. This includes designing the Semantic Data Layer and emerging Context Layer, developing the AI Data Readiness Framework, modernizing our enterprise data platforms, and launching the Hilton Data Catalog to deliver governed, high-quality, and easily discoverable data. These foundations support scalable Generative, Conversational, Predictive, and Agentic AI capabilities across the organization. We’ve also strengthened enterprise alignment through the Business Capability Framework, the Six-Stage EA process, and a thriving Architecture Community of Practice that enhances collaboration, improves visibility, and reduces duplication. I’m proud of the progress we’ve made in connecting strategy, data, and technology to enable Hilton’s AI-driven future.

Leading, embedding, engaging, and developing architecture leaders and thinking across and within the CIO’s staff. Working with executives across functions to develop and deploy a global business architecture and strategy consulting practice to align strategy into execution. Guiding transformation programs to maximize business and technology outcomes including digitization, data/analytics, cloud, IT platforms, acquisitions, and divestitures. Establishing and integrating EA governance and architecture practice across IT's functions, platforms, divisions, and regions. Promoting company’s innovation strategy and inspiring cultural change. Overseeing the efforts to establish an innovation lab and a common global process to assess emerging technologies. Partnering with the IT leadership in designing the EA organization and recruiting 5 principal architect roles to sustain IT and business transformation.

Leading a team of 8 Global Strategists & Enterprise Architects, 6 Regional Enterprise Architects and support staff with a federated community of 45 Business & Technical Architects to deliver EA function’s global strategy, services, operations, governance, communications, content, and change management. Spearheading multi-cloud enterprise infrastructure strategy and methodology to migrate 50% of core business applications to cloud by 2025 (AWS, Azure). Setting the enterprise technology vision and fostering innovation by using emerging technologies and approaches to modernize, extend, and transform the existing core technology base around cloud, web, mobile, AI/ML, microservices, data lake, and API-enabled platforms and products. Advising and guiding the Global IT Leadership Team to drive architecture modernization and simplifications mandate by localizing business and IT strategies & roadmaps across the Global IT to achieve digital differentiation. Organizing and leading the Technology Risk Reviews, Global and Regional Architecture Review Boards (ARBs) with project execution deliverables to move from technology blueprint reviews to proactive design.

Orchestrated efforts to develop enterprise user experience framework and governance model integrated with project execution process to apply Human Centric Design methodology with cross-functional partners responsible for delivering the holistic end user experience. Led the efforts to apply newly developed user experience framework to 50+ high user impact projects. Drove improvements in global user operations that enhanced the employee experience, increased efficiency, and improved Net Promoter Score.

Led the technology strategy and architecture to establish the Digital Health ecosystem for Medtronic. Spearheaded the efforts to establish a well-thought-out process to evaluate emerging digital health technologies and vendors globally to build partnerships and develop indigenous end-to-end digital health platforms. Build strong working relationship with the business development teams to lead the value-based health care IT strategy globally. Led the architecture development for a variety of complex digital health-related programs and deployed Health Informatics platform in Medtronic.

Partnered with Medtronic business and Global IT teams to define, design, implement, monitor, and maintain the cloud services (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS) architecture vision and strategy to meet enterprise technology modernization. Created global enterprise Salesforce.com strategy and partnered with the key stakeholders in managing vendor relationship across 20+ instances and 20,000+ users. Developed the key strategies to enable the integration of cloud application services and infrastructure services into existing IT solutions.

Developed the overall vision of projected solutions and led alignment efforts for Segment Solutions Roadmap to support OptumHealth Commercial Strategy (Salesforce.com). Provided technical leadership around decomposing business programs and business initiatives into an actionable set of project activities include business process modeling, simulation, and validating outcomes. Built solution plans that define the future state architecture, scope of solution initiatives, solution delivery sequencing, assumptions, and risks in executing a technology strategy to support a business plan that enables product growth.

Managed three PPI (Physician Performance Improvement) development and integration projects through all phases of project life cycle analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and post-production support for PPI portfolio. Successfully managed over $4 million dollars of T&M budget for the four PPI Projects with the team consist of more than 15 professionals. Cultivated & nurtured key business relationships by providing accurate project executive summary for project budget, dependencies, risks, and risk mitigation.

• Delivering architectural guidance and artifacts for individual projects. • Collaborating with business partners to deliver new solutions and reduce the technology footprint by harvesting redundant systems. • Ensuring that the applications and projects align with Enterprise architecture goals. • Collaborating in the development and implementation of various strategic initiatives around Data Quality, Metadata and Data Architecture Policies, Standards and Governance. • Design and direct the information access, security requirements and delivery effort for the data warehouse.

Led and managed several strategic and highly visible Best Buy Enterprise projects for their Customer Services initiatives. These business initiatives were concepts of organizing service businesses around key customer needs to maximize shareholder value. • Worked as a lead architect to provide solution to streamline Enterprise Order Management System for Dotcom as Multi-Channel Solution. • Successfully developed and presented solutions that promote efficiencies and accelerate market acquisitions, assist application owners in development of business requirements, develop application technical requirements, perform system analysis and Design, develop unit and system test plans, schedule programmer tasks, and assist with problem resolution. • Led the efforts to re-design the hand held devices in the Best Buy stores to access applications through intranet. New hand held application was developed using technologies C#, .Net 2.0, Java scripts and SQL Server. • Led the efforts to internationalize the Best Buy In-Store Repair Services application for major international role out. Application was developed using technologies such as JSP, Java Servlet, WebSphere, C#, .NET web services and SQL Server 2005. • Extensive experience in leading the technical teams consists of on-shore and off-shore resources. • In depth experience in implementing Customer Relationship Management for both Customer Product Logistics in Repair cycle and Case management for better consumer relationship. • Hands on Experience with different Software Development methodologies including SDLC (System Development Life Cycle), RSA (Rational Software Architect) and CMMI (Capability Maturity Model Integration). • Reviewed Statements of Work (SOW), prepared and managed Bills of Material (BOM). Completed ROIs and made recommendations on hardware and software purchases.

Effectively managed and lead the development of several mission-critical projects for Best Buy as a technical lead. Actively participated in analysis, design and architecture of Work flow management application for the Best Buy’s Services department. This project revolutionized their work flow and business processes. It was a multi-tiered solution using object-oriented design principles and the latest technologies. • Facilitated the business vision and championed the funding process, the prospectus writing and project initiation requests, the cost benefit analysis, managed business expectations and budgets, managed dependencies and applied risk mitigation strategies, and executed the architectural and technical road map. • Key member of the technical management team. Lead the project, design, analysis, development, and implementation phases of this strategic effort. Participated in cost benefit analysis, project estimation, resource management, progress reporting, technical leadership, and facilitated communication between the team and key business stakeholders. • Successful applied Cutting-edge Customer Relationship Management technologies for Depot Repair and Logistics. • Helped Business Partners understand return on investment (ROI) and provided technical advice. • Employed an iterative process of development model well suited to component-based enterprise development. This approach provided the advantage of object-oriented design and principles including encapsulation and polymorphism. This methodology was adopted by several successful large-scale projects. • Core offerings included Technical Project Management, Microsoft.NET Platform Solutions, Business and Application Architecture Design, Complex Configuration and Quotation Engines, and Domestic Design/Off-Shore Delivery Model.

Designed and developed a statistical software package that manipulated and reported proprietary findings for the prominent health care organization. Facilitated project meetings and lead a high performance team. • Identified areas of weakness and implemented standards, appropriate technical infrastructures, operational changes and business strategies. • Worked with the team to develop SAS reports using the JCL and DB2 database. • Produced consistent quality results in cutting-edge information systems projects, Team management, contract negotiations, expense reduction and operational efficiencies. • Worked with the team to plan, analyze, design and develop reports for the business.

Designed and developed multiple Medical Claims Mangemement systems. Effectively participated in the design sessions and helped defined the solution. Worked in a team environment to deliver the applications to the users within the budget and timelines. • Comprehensive knowledge of full life cycle development of both IBM Mainframe and GUI applications with ISPF, COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2 and PowerBuilder. • Developed a Loss Fund Manager application using PowerBuilder front-end and COBOL, DB2 as back-end. The system allowed keeping track deductible information for the clients. • Developed and design Insurance Revenue Match application using PowerBuilder front-end and COBOL, DB2 as back-end. The system was developed to facilitate the business users to match claims according to the client’s insurance policies. • Development experience of three tier applications using PowerBuilder front-end and COBOL on-line procedures in the back-end and DB2 as the Database using Sybase Gateways as the middleware. • Developed SAS programs for ad-hoc reporting purposes. Also worked on other reporting tools such as QMF, SPUFI, WinQuery and ISQL/W.
