Arnold Raymon

As a professional business person, I work hard to support my family in the best manner possible. I take community seriously and have held volunteer positions in organizations including hospice, committee on aging, synagogue, and the Irvine Barclay Theatre. My career has been very interesting working primarily for large industrial companies such as 20th Century Fox, McDonnell Douglas, Toshiba and Siemens. I traveled all over the world for these companies. 11 years ago I made a career transition to my current role as CFO of a locally oriented non-profit. The challenges of this organization are in many respects similar to those in the for-profit world. Although it was a big step, I have found great satisfaction in mixing professional challenge with local mission. Professionally, I am an MBA and former CPA. I take work seriously and prefer colleagues who are smart, achievement oriented, and focused, and at the same time personable and team oriented. I am a very active sports participant including softball, tennis, golf, jogging, and bicycling. When I have the time, I like to read literature and I'm a musician. One of my biggest challenges is scheduling. I am an optimist and conservative when it comes to finance.
