As a production artist, the primary responsibility will be the creation, layout, and editing of catalog spreads. In addition, the employee will be responsible for aiding in the producing of collateral materials, packaging, print ads, and web advertisements that will blend with the feel and overall look of all of our unique and individual brands. In addition to these duties, the production artist will help with general office tasks such as printing inch analysis sheets, trimming and posting catalog spreads for pick-up, and pulling product from the warehouse as needed. He/she must be well versed in Adobe InDesign for these tasks. A basic understanding of Adobe Photoshop is also required, specifically those skills concerning color correction, photo re-touching, and general layout creation. Working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Microsoft Office is a plus.
