Armin Walcher

I have been a German and European patent attorney since 1999 and obtained my LL.M. in European Intellectual Property in 2006. I have been a partner with LOUIS PÖHLAU LOHRENTZ in Nuremberg since 2002. Our firm has been serving clients in Germany and around the world for about 80 years through our established and trusted global network of associates. I studied at the Technical University of Darmstadt/Germany and graduated with a degree in chemistry (Dipl.-Ing.). I then enjoyed a scholarship at the Max Planck Institute for Biology in Tübingen/Germany and completed my PhD at the Eberhard Karls University in Tübingen/Germany. I am intensively involved in prosecution and opposition work before the German Patent and Trademark Office (DPMA), the European Patent Office (EPO) and the European Trademark Office (EUIPO). Another aspect of my work is the enforcement of intellectual property rights. I am therefore also involved in litigation where out-of-court settlements are not possible.
