To ensure provision of professional and seasoned/matured leadership on project and commodity management for procurement, in-depth insight on customer’s procurement requirement, acting as direct contact/channel to customer covering procurement related issues/activities during project life cycle and to have a streamlined communication between global and site procurement and business holders To ensure achievement and maximization of target material profitability margin through improved BOM Cost Management, Purchase Price Variance (PPV), continuous identification of cost reduction (internal or external) related to materials and improved customer satisfaction (focus on customer's interest and meeting customer expectation in order to retain our company as preferred vendor)

• Responsible in implementing a global supply chain strategy in support of the Strategic Supply Chain Management and the Global Material Management team. Drive best industry practices within all IMI divisions and the supporting supply base. • Responsible in implementing programs to maintain the lowest possible total system inventory exposure, reducing risk for both IMI and the customer. • Leverage IMI Global Commodity Management group in support of strategic procurement initiatives. • Ensure that sites are implementing the price and AML strategies during new quotations and price rolls for new and existing model of existing customers. • Responsible in managing IMI Philippines and Mexico Customer Supply Chain management. • Maintain compliance with corporate, and facility policies and procedures. Ensure the highest standards of integrity and professionalism are adhered to in the procurement process.

· Responsible in conducting regular cost review and exercise to ensure best/current market pricing. · Responsible in conducting on-going materials risk analysis with site Material, PM, CM and SSCM to drive supply assurance and continuity of supply strategies with the customers. · Responsible in monitoring customer materials supply agreement (MSA) and adherence to IMI's Terms and Conditions (T&Cs). · Responsible in establishing and implementing a customized materials supply chain solutions for IMI and its customers through on-going Cost Management, Supply Chain Optimization, Supply Assurance and Continuity of Supply, Leveraging Resources and NPI Support. · Responsible in IMI's Business Process Re-Engineering. · Responsible in improving material support efficiency and effectiveness as well as materials functional coordination on-site.

* Participated actively in time-to-market activities for both prototype and mass production schedule/plan. • Works with Design Engineers, Product Development Engineers and various engineering groups to assure specifications are comprehensive. • Responsible in initiating the market research, material sourcing, price negotiation and procurement of electronic parts/components in the most economical way in any part of the world. • Participated actively on new product introduction (NPI) activities (from product conceptualization down to volume manufacturing). • Responsible in planning the materials and coordinating the prototype assembly schedule to the factory. • Responsible in providing cost analysis and possible improvements for the on-going design projects. • Participated actively on Project Management dissemination and implementation.
