Collaborating effectively with other divisions of Cargill, I worked on developing Cargill 's presence in METNA ( Middle East, North Africa and Middle East) Region ,a key emerging market for the company. I did lead commercial activities, growth strategy deployment and change management while building sustainable revenue streams for a customer focused organization. As METNA Regional Director, I was responsible for business strategy to support our growth objectives and execute our business plans through multiple assets in Turkey and Saudi Arabia along with cross functional teams in 5 different country offices . The scope of my job included sales & marketing activities, organizational revitalization , financial planning , supply chain management in highly competitive food ingredients industry. M&A activities in the region was an important part of my focus and interest. I still have an extensive reach in the region to develop and execute asset base investments through family offices, SWF s and private equity houses. I gave special focus on both personal and professional development of my team leaders, encouraging them to operate freely and to cooperate with each other to reach our common goals while sharing same values. Some of my previous team members are leading now different businesses in Bunge , IFF , Kerry , IFFCO etc in the region.
