As the Financial Controller, Ventures my responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Managing financial reporting and analysis - Preparing budgets and forecasts - Overseeing year end statutory audits - Leading financial planning and strategy discussions - Ensuring compliance with financial regulations - Collaborating with cross-functional teams - Identifying process improvements - Working capital management - Providing financial insights to stakeholders

As the Head, JV Finance I am responsible for reporting on the Joint Venture operations of Heirs Energies Limited with the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) in OML 17. This spans across coordinating and ensuring periodic update of project-based forecasting of both production and costs;  Preparing monthly performance report, billing statements and estimates for the JV partners cash call.  Preparing the JV budget, work program and economic analysis.  JV budget management and admisitration.  Plan for and review JV financial data on a monthly basis to identify issues and take corrective measures.  Coordinate all JV audits (including Value for Money Audits on the JV operations)  Represent the organization in JV partners meeting (including FINCOM, TECOM, SUBCOM) as well as maintain communication with contractors, subcontractors and partners.  Assist with the on-going ERP implementation (Oracle) for OML 17.

As the Finance Manager, I am responsible for Nestoil Limited’s financial performance for all operational sites. My responsibilities include but are not limited to:-  Develops the company’s annual plans, budgets, forecasts and financial performance metrics to guide business operations.  Develop/update and implement financial and accounting policies, procedures and strategies.  Design and guide the implementation of a sound accounting framework and compliance with tax and other statutory provisions.  Assists in the development and maintenance of sound financial controls across the company’s operations.  Coordinate the proper capturing of financial transactions and consolidation of the Company’s accounts from all business units and functions.  Prepare accurate, comprehensive and timely financial and management information including tax, cashflow, management accounts and other statutory accounts.  Maintain on-going liaison with relevant external bodies/contacts e.g regulatory organisations, auditors, solicitors, banks etc.

As the Manager, JV/Project Accounts I am responsible for reporting on the Joint Venture operations of Neconde Energy Limited with Nigerian Petroleum Development Company (NPDC) on OML 42. This spans across coordinating and ensuring quarterly update of project-based forecasting of both revenue and costs;  Preparing monthly performance report, billing statements and estimates for the JV partners cash call.  Coordinating and ensuring quarterly update of project-based forecasting of costs (including cost per barrel analysis).  Preparing the JV budget, work program and economic analysis.  Prepare variance analysis on each project and resolve discrepancies as well as review JV financial data on a monthly basis to identify issues and take corrective measures.  Coordinate all JV audits (including Value for Money Audits on the JV operations)  Represent the organization in JV partners meeting (including FINCOM, TECOM, SUBCOM) as well as maintain communication with contractors, subcontractors and partners.  Assist with the on-going ERP implementation (Sun systems) for OML 42.

Nestoil Limited is the largest indigenous EPCC company in the Nigerian Oil and Gas sector and has been a significant contributor to the industry since inception in 1991. As the Deputy Manager, JV/Project Accounts I am responsible for accounting for the Joint Venture operations of one of Nestoil Limited's Strategic Business Units (Neconde Energy Limited) on OML 42. This spans across coordinating and ensuring quarterly update of project-based forecasting of both revenue and costs; Preparing the JV work program and economic analysis as well maintaining the JV asset register and inventory system; Represent the organisation in JV partners meeting as well as maintain communication with contractors, subcontractors and partners; Prepare variance analysis on each project and resolve discrepancies as well as review JV financial data on a monthly basis to identify issues and take corrective measures.

As a senior audit associate at KPMG Professional Services, I have designed and implemented tests on the internal control mechanism for major clients in the upstream and downstream sectors, highlighting control deficiencies and providing recommendations on how to address them. I have undertaken financial statement audits (NGAAP and IFRS), IFRS conversion engagements, Financial statement preparation and analysis as well as other agreed upon procedures (AUP) for major players in the in the oil and gas industry. I have also developed training materials as well as trained less experienced colleagues in order to improve their work efficiency.
