With Telus, I built ETL pipelines using Python to automate data processing and distribution over several teams, enhancing operational performance. Optimized Ariba Contract management system to boost the company's asset/contract ownership by implementing those mass functions. I used JavaScript and CSS to improve the TELUS sustainability website boosting user revisitation by 12% during launch, encouraging environmental responsible purchases. As well as tuned SQL queries on Marketplace, the company's procurement resources, reducing time on main page. Streamlined workflow processes using Signavio SAP, and SQL for a Tableau KPI real-time dashboard frontend, along with DocuSign conducting trend analysis for mapping. Resulted in identifying 12 most efficient saving levers methods to generate mass savings and cut losses.

As an IT trainee in the esteemed engineering consultancy company DAR, I had the opportunity to work with a Geo site localization tool, gaining valuable hands-on experience on communication protocols such as LPWAN, GPS, UWB, and Wi-Fi. Additionally, I gained exposure to IoT applications in construction sites, primarily focusing on Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) initiatives. Throughout my training, I developed a solid understanding of data management, device networking, and the practical use of IoT technologies for optimizing safety practices in construction environments.

I was able to participate in the Student Design Team, Midnight Sun! Considering my long-term goal to develop smart cities that are adaptable, connected, and most importantly sustainable... My mission perfectly aligns with designing a car that uses solar energy as a source of power for propulsion, to charge the battery box, and convert it into electrical energy. During my involvement in the team, I used SolidWorks to design molds for the car's upper body. I also had the opportunity to explore the realm of FEA by applying it to the wheel hub of the solar powered car. I cannot wait to join the team again, in Fall 2023, when I start my study term!

Dar is one of the leading international Engineering consulting firms working on leading projects including Smart city, Neom in Saudi Arabia. In over 12 sessions, I had the opportunity to meet professional engineers and learn the roles, tasks and duties the different engineering specializations: Architecture, Civil, Electrical, Industrial & Mechanical. I had the chance to see, first hand, the development of projects in different stages of progress from planning to execution: I developed drawings in AutoCAD to assist the mechanical engineering team in their detailed plans for designing a housing camp for 10,000 workers for NEOM. And I got introduced to computer aided programs, such as KCL to design objects and import them into AutoCAD, in ski resort project for DAR.

The company is in the business of importing healthcare products and supplying local and regional buyers as well as consumers. I have been working there part-time every summer since 2018. My job is helping, and assisting full time staff including assembling packages, picking and packing general and on-line orders, inspecting quality of electrical and electronic items, receiving and registering returned goods, filing hard copies of documents, taking monthly inventory of stock and assisting in general office work. Due to the COVID-19 quarantines, our teams became smaller, so I had to do a lot of multitasking with the additional responsibility of assisting the call centre inquiries.

As a Mechatronics student at the University of Waterloo, Canada's top engineering school, learning more about multidisciplinary engineering field integrating mechanical, electrical, and computer engineering principles, enabling me to tackle complex technical challenges with precision and expertise. What I love the most about my program is the versatility, I have knowledge about every part of designing a robot, in a project. But Mechatronics also brings me one step closer to my end-goal, which is to develop smart cities, using AI and machine learning.
