Arianna Crossman

I am an optimist at heart. My work experiences so far have been in a variety of areas including agricultural, hospitality, and video production occupations. Although these areas seem vastly different, they revealed to me my passion for people. I have always cherished the ability to innovate, mold, and write new worlds into existence. I was not aware of the beautiful opportunity that stood before me when I first found Human Factors through Michigan Tech. However, when I heard that I could combine human-centered design thinking, engineering, and psychology into one package, I fell in love and declared it as my major. Since then, I have been building upon the tantalizing skills and knowledge in the field. These skills include things such as qualitative and quantitative research designs, heuristic evaluations, and what drives consumer processes. My goals are to get a degree in Human Factors with a minor in business and mathematics, to find joy in my job, and to work with a company where I can make a difference.
