Develops design sketches, 2D technical drawings, 3D models, branding, and sample comments across categories, including main line handbags and SLGs. Bringing an industrial design background and deep knowledge of hardware construction, precision, adaptability, and collaboration to the department.

Client: Sandy Heyman - Designed eyewear collections based off of current market trends and built a freshman and sophomore collection for a new brand. Provided technical drawings and commented on two rounds of sampling to ensure product fit was appropriate. Client: Republic Clothing Group - Worked as a contract design director to help pull the FA25 home textiles collections together through decorative pillows and throw blankets. Worked through palette and design techniques to build out capsules. Client: American Exchange Group - Designs mostly hardgoods home collections for licenses including but not limited to: Ed Hardy, Trader Joe's, and Olivia & Kate. Deliverables include technical specs for sampling, CADs and custom artwork. Client: Amiee Lynn PBS Home Goods - Designs seasonal tabletop trim and home textiles. Deliverables include CAD presentations and custom artwork.

Responsibilities grew to include managing two teams executing brand strategies across diverse product categories for North American stores. Had opportunities to travel to various domestic trade shows for material and construction innovation.

Led concept and design for Nicole Miller and Laura Ashley home textiles, including showroom styling, pattern development, planogram modeling, and hard goods design for big box and department store customers across North America.

Designed in the Decorative Accessories category at West Elm, encompassing a variety of product such as decorative accessories, seasonal trim, tabletop, baskets, wall decor, homescent, and mirrors. Presented sketches and product to leadership and with other categories to ensure products layer successfully to communicate a strong design intention for the season. Traveled and represented the team when visiting our manufacturing partners overseas to review samples in person in order to refine products for our customer’s homes in granular detail. My work contributed to $13.6M in sales over my time at the company.

Demonstrated a working and accessible regenerative design model for consumer products though research, tech packs, CAD renderings, prototyping, and conscious material sourcing primarily with international artisan communities.

Breadth of work involved conception and execution of sun and optical frames for Tory Burch, Coach, and Brooks Brothers, prototype and material matching, technical sketches of top and side views, and technical CAD renderings.

Work included benchmarking current market trends, street style research and photography, material research, and translating data and research into mood boards and presentations to inform future collection development.

Responsibilities and outcomes included resizing ad campaigns, laying out lookbooks, retail graphics, retouching, graphics for various events and signage, and setting up for various events.

Responsibilities and outcomes included coming up with projects relating to galleries for families, demonstrate and teach projects, growth within the Queens Teens and Sunday Family Workshop programs.
