Member of management team and responsible for providing leadership and direct oversight for AbbVie’s compliance and ethics program in The Netherlands. Lead the affiliate Compliance Steering Committee (CSC) and provides guidance and support to the local business (including finance, market access, medical and external affairs) on national industry codes and regional/international industry codes, government regulations including the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and other initiatives sponsored by the Office of Ethics & Compliance. Responsible for the implementation, management, interpretation and training on compliance policies and procedures. Actively participate in local industry group meetings, identifying changes and trends in the external environment, communi-cating them to the CSC and the global Office of Ethics and Compliance. Assists the affiliate with compliance audits, oversees the fulfillment of auditors’ requests, acts as liaison between business and auditors during on-site activities.

Reporting directly to the Chief Compliance Officer for DaVita’s International division. Key role supporting the implementation of the International Compliance plan and ensure deployment in the different countries in EMEA, LATAM and ASIA PAC regions. Responsible for the compliance agenda of MicroPort Orthopedics International business in EMEA, Latin America and Asia Pacific regions. Accountable for the local implementation and regular updates of global and regional specific policies, SOPs and standards with respect to code of conduct, laws, regulations, and local medical device codes. Ensure MicroPort adherence to local and International codes and regulations concerning the interaction with Health Care Professionals Main responsible for the development and deployment of training programs on ethical compliance for employees and 3rd party distributors along EMEA, Latin America and Asia Pacific regions. Perform compliance audit and monitoring activities in accordance with the global compliance audit plan, with focus on 3rd party distributor audits in Emerging Markets and reviews over Medical Education and Marketing processes. Key business partner: advice on a daily basis employees and senior management on compliance related issues, always finding ways to win and maintain the trust, respect and cooperation of the company representatives without compromising the company obligations and integrity.

Responsible for the compliance function in the EMEA region, reporting directly to MicroPort Chief Compliance Officer. Prime focal point for ensuring MicroPort Orthopedics adherence and implementation of both International and National Codes and Laws regarding interactions with HCPs in the EMEA region. Key responsible for the development and deployment of the Compliance Training plan for EMEA MicroPort employees and third party distributors. Conducting training in different formats and providing customized education and guidance for the different functions in the organization. Actively supporting the execution of the audit plan for subsidiaries and distributors, with focus on a wide variety of audit reviews, such as strategic initiative reviews, business & process performance reviews and financial & compliance reviews. Direct company contact and MicroPort representative at industry associations (such as EUCOMED), representing the compliance function at industry meetings and projects developed by outside compliance associations.

Global Direct Purchasing controlling of the Raw & Pack Material Costs, including annual budgeting and monthly forecasting processes. Responsible for indentifying and monitoring risks and opportunities within the sourcing and supply coverage methods & Supplier risk analyses. Accountable for controlling and validating of productivity projects delivered by supplier change or reformulation of products. Key business partner for the Baby Nutrition and Medical Global sourcing community.

Owner of the Controls Assurance and Risk Management process for Benelux and Nordics, identifying and addressing weaknesses, improving controls and compliance with local and global policies. Responsible for the coordination of the Risk Management Committee in Benelux and Nordics, providing an independent risk management point of view to regional directos and in market initiatives to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of key projects and processes in the region. Responsible for the coordination of the policy matrices for specified markets, ensuring that the policies that are relevant for each function within each market are understood, communicated, and clearly owned in each market. Responsible for rolling out standardized processes to support the implementation of the Compliance & Ethics program across Benelux and Nordics, as well as, mechanisms to measure and report on progress towards achieving and maintaining the Compliance & Ethics strategy.

Responsible for the execution of the invoicing and Purchase to Pay processes, financial recording and reconciliation. Accountable for the billing excellence, accuracy, compliance, recording and timeliness of all generated transactions. Responsible for the generation, development and controlling of key performance indicators, process effectiveness and financial reporting. Owner of the Global Billing and Procurement compliance procedures and underlying management of related control measure, as well as Global Billing Policy and underlying process and policy documentation. Support Order to Cash Market Service teams, providing value adding management information such as overdue invoicing, blocked billings, debit and credit management. Part of the Finance Controls Testing group responsible for the internal controls test and auditing, identifying and reporting business risks.

Help to embed competitive intelligence mindset into the organization, contributing to the communication and interaction between global networks. Develop and implement competitive intelligence tools in order to analyze the competitive positioning. Develop a unified Management Information and performance report with Global finance team to measure the business performance and effectively communicate success stories to external stakeholders. Develop portfolio processes and tools to assess the global Clean Coal Energy business portfolio. Prepare portfolio evaluations and materials in support of the Clean Coal Energy Leadership Team discussions and decision-making.
