 Worked with engineering leaders and stakeholders to align the team vision with business deliverables. Scope included roadmap planning, resource management, project execution and delivery.  Responsible for recruiting and training top talent to the team  Collaborated with cross functional teams including Sales, Marketing, Customer Escalation and QA for delivering high quality features including Cisco Application Centric Infrastructure, VXLAN, Data Center Spine Leaf Architecture, SPAN, Layer 3 Encapsulated Remote SPAN using GRE Tunnel, Cisco Fabric Extender Technology, Port-Channel Manager, Nexus Data Broker, sFLOW, UDLD, LACP and LLDP protocols  Driving the vendor engagement with Broadcom for Nexus 9500 platform, including feature requirement and integration  Provided critical feedback during Nexus 7K Hardware design and review which led to new feature sets being implemented in hardware  Used Cisco Product Development Methodology (CPDM) and Agile Methodology to ensure high quality and well tested delivery of the features  Ensured that all functional and design specs, unit and system test plan documentation for the features were completed on schedule  Made multiple technical presentations to Engineering and Product Management teams for in depth feature and requirement discussions Defined hardware and software requirements for multiple features including SPAN, ERSPAN and UDLD  Designed and implemented the above mentioned features and worked with Quality Engineering team to ensure system test coverage  Actively engaged in code reviews to ensure quality code delivery  Worked with cross-functional teams across the Nexus family of products to define the standard ERSPAN packet format which has been submitted to IETF  Trained customer escalation, test and other cross-functional teams on all the new SPAN features introduced across different releases

 Worked on the development of Uni Directional Link Detection Protocol (UDLD), for Cisco Nexus 7000 Data Center series of switches  Analyzed different scenarios and use cases for developing a finite state machine based design of the system using C programming.  Developed various unit test cases to verify the design and implementation.  Designed and implemented the command line user interface for setting various features and parameters of the UDLD protocol based on user requirements

Mobile Assisted Hard Handoff Implementation and Testing: Involved developing and testing of a new feature added to the CDMA network. The feature involved Hard Handoff implementation with maximum avoidance of Out Of Service.
