• Inspect and supervise contractor’s work on multiple parking structure rehabilitation projects and ensure projects are completed accordingly to the deadlines. Organize site visits with contractors and clients to inform all parties of the progress of each project and resolve any areas of concern or conflict encountered on site. Monitor the construction to ensure compliance with engineering standards, specifications, and detail drawings. Consult with contractors on construction project areas that do not conform with required engineering standards, specifications and drawings. Review any modifications or change orders that must be made to meet any City by-laws, policies and procedures. Log and document observation reports and communicate to the contractors and clients. Review progress billings to compare the work completed, quantities of repairs and the budget.

• Analyse aggregate samples and document the information regularly to track the progress of soil samples. Perform the Proctor, Sieve, or CBR tests to evaluate the compaction level and optimum moisture content of the foundation needed for each individual project. • Executed slump tests and air tests in order to identify the consistency and air content of the concrete to ensure conformity with specifications outlined in the client documents. • Responsible for casting, grinding and compressive strength testing of concrete cylinders. • Organize the soil samples according to priority and perform tests by exercising independent judgement. • Designed and performed formwork for an additional entrance below ground level and coordinated amongst eight team members, along with the supervisor. • Directed a team to repair basement plumbing and drainage failures including concrete pouring as a protective layer for the piping system. • Excavated ground while maintaining safety procedures and installed formwork for the project. • Installed several different floorings such as tiles, hardwoods, and engineered woods based on the infrastructure’s design and purpose for various clients and members of the general public.
