Oversee the engineering, procurement, fabrication and construction of all aspects related to solar racking systems and their foundations for large scale utility solar ground mount projects.

Oversaw a team of six engineering interns, geological interns and technicians/technologists for completion of geotechnical investigations and material testing projects.

Manage and coordinate all logistics related to geotechnical investigations for design, construction and remediation purposes. Extensive experience working in the field of renewable energy, transportation, linear infrastructure, aviation, municipal engineering and much more.

Conducted field investigations and inspections, for foundation or other construction related excavations, subsurface site remediations, and construction quality control/quality assurance. Included but not limited to the following: • Field testing of plastic concrete as per CSA standards • Inspected installation of municipal infrastructure related to stormwater, wastewater, and drinking water • Tested compaction of native and engineered soils using nuclear densometer methods • Classified soils as per M.I.T. and Unified classification system • Performed grain size analysis, hydrometer, standard/modified proctor, and atterberg limit test as per CSA standards • Inspected shallow foundation, roadway, and utility trench subgrades • Retaining wall construction inspection and preparation of certification letter • Phase II Environmental Site Assessment (ESA) and remediation; sampling and delineation of impacted soils and groundwater

Performed quality assurance laboratory testing on hot mix asphalt and recycled asphalt as per CSA specifications. As well as concrete field testing and laboratory testing of concrete specimens.
