Arash Asrari, PhD

Arash Asrari (Senior Member, IEEE) received the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from the University of Central Florida, Orlando, FL, USA, in 2015. From 2015 to 2017, he was a Senior Consulting Engineer with Phasor Engineering, LLC, Winter Garden, FL, USA. From 2017 to 2023, he was an Assistant Professor with the School of Electrical, Computer, and Biomedical Engineering at Southern Illinois University (SIU), Carbondale, IL, USA. He supervised 8 Ph.D./M.S. students in his research team. Dr. Asrari was the recipient of the Outstanding Teacher of the Year Awards at SIU in 2019 and 2022. Since Aug. 2023, he has been an Associate Professor with the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Purdue University Northwest, Hammond, IN, USA. He is also an Associate Editor for the IEEE Access journal.
