* plan, organize and carry out the internal audit assignments including the preparation of audit plan which fulfills the responsibility of the department, scheduling and assigning work and estimating resource needs * analyze operational and management processes and system controls' effectiveness and efficiency in view to improve them and propose value-added recommendations in terms of both efficient and effective performance * work with management to ensure a system is in place which ensures that all major risks of the entity are identified and analyzed, on a continuous basis * present to management the results, internal controls deficiencies, recommendations and conclusions of internal audit reviews * ensuring compliance of transactions with policy, regulatory, and other requirements like proper supporting, reasonableness and accuracy
