I am a permanent (tenured) Lecturer in Entrepreneurship at Aalto University School of Business, with my research and teaching both focusing on early-stage entrepreneurship and its connections to broader entrepreneurial ecosystems. In my teaching, I specialize in early-stage entrepreneurship, focusing on problem identification, user understanding, business models, and value propositions. I employ experiential, practice-based methods in my teaching and have mentored numerous project teams. I've also had the pleasure of guest lecturing at Columbia University (USA), Stellenbosch University (ZA), IIT Guwahati (India) and facilitating sessions at various Finnish multinational organizations. My research critically examines entrepreneurial education and its links to the broader entrepreneurial ecosystem and institutions, with a focus on Finland and the Nordics. I've also played a key role in several EU-funded capacity-building entrepreneurship projects, having secured over €3M in funding and fostering partnerships with universities across Europe, Africa, North America, and Asia. In 2024, I was recognized by the Finnish Businessmen's Association (Suomen Liikemies-Yhdistys) for my contributions towards advancing entrepreneurship at Aalto and beyond.
