About
I’m a second-year Computer Science and Economics student at the University of Chicago interested in building technology that solves real problems and improves how people interact with software. My interests span software engineering, machine learning, and data-driven systems. I enjoy working on projects that require both technical depth and practical thinking - whether that’s designing efficient systems, improving developer tools, or building user-centered applications. Recently, I worked as an Associate Software Engineer Intern at Google, where I contributed to infrastructure supporting Google Play notification services. During the internship, I focused on improving system reliability and developer experience while working on large-scale production systems. Before college, I explored technology through UX/UI design projects, app development, and startup initiatives, which sparked my interest in building products from both technical and user perspectives. I’m excited to keep developing my skills in areas like machine learning, distributed systems, and human-computer interaction, and to work on problems where technology can have meaningful real-world impact. I’m always happy to connect with other students, engineers, and mentors who are excited about building and learning.

Associate Software Development Intern
Mountain View, California, United States
Contributed to Google Play notification serving services by refactoring core components in Java and migrating data retrieval models. Proactively delivered two additional projects ahead of schedule, including building a synchronous test flow to streamline verification and onboarding legacy content types from an older notification tooling system into a modernized framework. These efforts enhanced developer experience, improved code efficiency, and simplified design, increasing overall confidence in the reliability of notification services.

Education

Computer Science
Second-year Computer Science student at the University of Chicago, passionate about applying technology to solve real-world problems and drive innovation. Experienced in programming, data structures, and AI-assisted software development, with a strong focus on building efficient, user-centered solutions.

Computer Science
Enrolled in two undergraduate level courses during summer of 2023. (1) Programming Abstractions (CS 106B) - Researched advanced data structures and Algorithms in C++. - Learned concepts like - abstract data types, recursion, object-oriented programming, memory management, linked data structures, and advanced coding algorithms. - Implemented complex compression algorithms and optimized performance over large datasets. (2) Food, Sustainability, and Culture (SOC 129D) - Explored current global trends such as climate change, biodiversity loss, rising inequality, and increasing urbanization's impact on future environmental and social sustainability and how technology can be applied to solve these problems.

Robotics, Debate
- Physics of Robotics - Learned Arduino and C programming languages. Built a fully functional autonomous car that could detect obstacles and adjust its path dynamically - Fundamentals of Speech and Debate - Studied advanced debate techniques and participated in many debate events
