Worked on Direct Numerical solution. Designed and coded a numerical solver to simulate the combustion of jet fuel/kerosene in a modular combustor when water/steam is added to it. Pollutants like NOx are a big source of concern for engines. My study led to a conclusion that there is a significant reduction in production of Nitrous Oxides if water/steam is added to jet fuel in the combustor.
