During my internship at Thermax Limited, Pune, in the HSE and S Department, I had the opportunity to work on various impactful projects. I calculated embodied carbon from COD and BOD treatment, developed KPI metrics for carbon emissions, and participated in BRSR audits, focusing on carbon and water data analysis. Additionally, I collected environmental data for monthly MIS reports, piloted the Sprih software for environmental management, and calculated Scope 3 emissions for employee commuting. I also created environmental procedures and frameworks for BRSR and CDP reporting, contributed to water neutrality certification efforts for TUV SUD, and analyzed supplier sustainability with the supply chain manager. This experience greatly enhanced my skills in environmental management and sustainability practices.
