Antonio Pereira

As an Intern for DL Hudson, I was largely responsible for troubleshooting and developing the company’s Profit and Loss sheet using Microsoft Excel. I was accountable for inputting the company’s daily trades into our PnL sheet, which required me to keep up with indices, commodity, and equity markets using the Bloomberg Terminal. I was also in charge of extracting reports from several digital platforms our brokers offered, producing equity reports and tailored statements for our CFO’s discretion. Additionally, I took on the task of assimilating the company’s FX trades into our Profit and Loss sheet, where I reformatted over 500 trades in order to produce accurate outputs.

As a coach for CMS, I organized and executed extracurricular activities for student athletes in middle and high school, rotating between coaching volleyball, soccer, and basketball. I was also responsible for enforcing Covid-19 safety protocols and measures in order to safely run practices for students. Additionally, I communicated with other coaches about practices and drills, contributing with my knowledge of sports to better prepare activities for athletes.

As an assistant, I collaborated with ABCD teachers in preparing and giving English lessons to adult immigrants. I supported students as a liaison between them and their teachers, translating tasks when needed and assisting them in understanding class material. In addition, I spearheaded the initiative to use Google Classrooms to facilitate class and homework activities.

Working at Suffolk Studio 73, one of the more notable things I participated in was as a producer, and host in a podcast series on campus life at Suffolk University. I also managed equipment including the tricaster, teleprompter, cameras, lighting, and the station phone which received calls from the public. Aditionally, I guided guest speakers during recording sessions, explaining how the production worked and assisted them with their needs. Also, I was in charge of representing the radio station during the Suffolk University Open House for high school students considering enrolling at the University.
