Antigone Fogel

Developing predictive models for risk analysis and trajectory mapping pre- and post-dementia diagnosis using Electronic Health Record data. Research interests include: translational machine learning methods, medical technology, preventative medicine, wearable and continuous health monitoring for healthcare quality improvement

MSc dissertation project with the Translational Machine Intelligence Lab at the UK Dementia Research Institute's Care Research & Technology Centre. Built a predictive machine learning model of cognitive decline in people living with dementia and a digital consultation tool for clinical use of the model.

I managed several physician education projects focused on emerging medical technologies and their applications (esp. point-of-care ultrasound) in clinical practice. I lead teams of administrative and clinical professionals, supervised project staff, managed relationships with project stakeholders, and coordinated the execution of customized ultrasound courses for physicians across British Columbia involving detailed content planning, logistical resource coordination, and budget management.

Participated in summer research projects under the supervision of Professors Richard Gilbert (2015 & 2016) and Kim Connelly (2017-2019) at St Michael's Hospital in Toronto.
