About
I am Anthony St. Clair, a rising sophmore at Yale University, where I intend to study Economics and Chinese while continuing to explore my interests in biology and writing. I have pursued opportunities that unite research, culture, and storytelling. My academic journey has included biology research on Drosophila and P-element transposons, recognition as a National Youth Film Festival winner, and contributions to journalism through The Record. I have also developed creative writing projects that examine questions of identity and society with depth and care. My experiences extend beyond academics to leadership in community and social justice initiatives, where I have worked to advocate for equity and cultural understanding. At Yale, I hope to build upon these commitments while expanding my studies at the intersection of language, economics, and science. I am deeply motivated by the pursuit of knowledge and its application to the broader world. Whether through cross-cultural study in Chinese, economic analysis, or biological research, I aspire to contribute to a more informed, thoughtful, and connected society.
