Responsible for managing & championing customers’ relationship function in this sector of the corporate market in order to obtain & retain customers for the Bank and coordinate the provision of cost-effective services. Played leading roles either as lead arranger/manager or major underwriter in respect of the division’s major project and structured finance deals of more than $620m over the 4 year period. Milestones - Grew divisional net earnings, liabilities and risk assets by 2-digit multiples from nil level [pioneer division] to N1.8bn ($16m), N6.5bn ($56m) and N24bn ($209m), respectively (FYE March 2005). Exceeded PBT targets by 25%, 40% and 50% in 2003-2005, respectively. Significant growth achieved in FY2006 prior to voluntary exit monthly PBT run rate of N312m ($2.7m), performing risk assets of N37bn ($322m) and liabilities of N11bn ($95m). Specific NPL less than 2% of gross loans value. Positioned the division to be the largest SBU second only to the Energy Division.
