Anthony Jett

I am a computer science student interested in attaining a web development position. My interest in software development goes back to my adolescence. I started with a general interest in Linux and the open source communities. Even outside the technology industry, I've been making every effort to build up my skill set. I plan to continue studying and practicing throughout my school career. I would like a chance to learn from more experienced developers. I love making things work. I find nothing more satisfying than working at a tough problem until everything comes together. Passion for problem-solving will only take me so far though, and I am interested in sharpening my skills further. I have been working with computers and software on an amateur level since childhood. Some of the skills I have picked up along the way include: • A strong foundation in C++ and Javascript • Familiarity with object-oriented concepts • Familiarity in a Linux environment • Comfortable with command-line interfaces My education is an important part of my life and I am making every effort to push toward more advanced subjects. I completed most of my Bachelor's degree at University of North Texas. I expect to continue working toward my Computer Science degree while pursuing my career.
