Anthony Headlam

Anthony is a Co-Founder and CEO of NewVolt Infrastructure. NewVolt's mission is to fast track Australia's transition to electric trucks. NewVolt is developing a national network of charging hubs for electric trucks, powered by renewable energy, along Australia's major road freight corridors and industrial precincts. Prior to founding NewVolt, Anthony was a project finance and infrastructure lawyer with specialist expertise in renewable energy and public infrastructure. Anthony founded his own firm Projects Law which focussed on supporting clients in the energy transition. Previously, Anthony has worked with leading public and private sector clients, including Vestas, the world's largest wind turbine manufacturer, where he served as the lead legal counsel for the Asia Pacific region. He has been involved in numerous landmark projects, such as the largest wind farm in Southeast Asia, and has successfully negotiated and closed complex deals, joint ventures, and dispute resolutions. Anthony is passionate about advancing clean energy solutions and contributing to the global transition to a low-carbon economy. Anthony holds a bachelor of laws, bachelor of economics and masters of public administration.
