impact manager
hollister co.
As Impact manager, I was responsible for the filling of the sales floor as well as the organization and cleanliness of the stockroom. By tasking and coaching a team of stockroom associates with consistent feedback, we, as a team, kept the stockroom neat and were able to raise the store's impact replenishment scores in order to drive business by keeping the sales floor full with all available sizes.

manager in training
hollister co.
After a very thorough three-month training program, I was given a hands-on instructions to know the basics of being a leader in retail management through superior floor supervision. I also learned and consistently held the company standards. I learned that my retail brand successfully upholds "brand senses" of retail (sight, sound, smell, touch, and energy) that set us apart and are dependent upon the managing supervisor. By keeping the sales floor clean (by doing morning, mid-day, and nightly tasks), full (by observing sold-down stacks and fixtures and addressing them), and friendly (by recruiting approachable, smart, aspirational, and energetic people and motivating them to make customer service a priority), I was an effective and sufficient addition to the management team.

visual manager
hollister co.
As Visual Manager, it was my responsibility to set and maintain the entire sales floor to all company standards. I trained and coached a team of associates who I would task out during sales floor presentation changes, and they would set the merchandise in a very specific way and given time requirements to do so. I was also responsible for zoning associates and teaching them customer service in order to maintain the set presentations to drive sales. Also among my responsibilities I was knowledgeable about all lighting standards for every fixture and manakin; I was responsible for all the sales signs and volume drivers, and I set and maintained the styling, placement, and height of all manakins.
