Led and developed multiple teams across speech recognition, NLP and BIG data domain. Started 3 new teams ground up and tripled team size in span of 2 years. Patent granted [Publication number US9317037 B2 ] for the solution. o Indoor Location Awareness Engine - Lead team to prototype an indoor location awareness engine based on radio signal fingerprinting. It includes innovative algorithms for radio map generation, finger print matching and cancelling noises to generate position fixes. Used the engine for real time worker tracking and catching workers trying to game the system. Patent granted [Publication number US9488986 B1] o Custom Webserver for Embedded Devices - We needed to harness the data our device was generating, for data mining. Created the vision, developed prototype for a lightweight custom webserver for WinCE6.0 based device. Founded project, mentored team in US R&D office to develop product. 2 out of 4 use cases won company award for meritorious disclosure of invention and 1 is patent pending. Technology is now the base for all BIG DATA analysis. Continuous improvement o Six sigma green belt certified professional. o Executed 3 Six sigma green belt project in last 3 years resulting in about USD 50K in saving.

Joined Vocollect Solutions division in 2010 as 3rd employee while company was starting their first speech R&D center outside US. Helped mature India center to deliver and take full ownership of products. Have been fortunate to work on some of the toughest problems company faced like speech recognition in noisy environment, automatic vehicle navigation, indoor location awareness and tackling competitive challenges from Motorola, LXE, PsionTekLogic and others in our industry. I led efforts to deliver cost effective solutions for these problems. The company got acquired by Honeywell in 2012.

Built the cross platform SOC validation, marketing demo, customer debug software tool from ground up. This was the first time something like this was done for BT/FM/GPS combo chipset in connectivity division. Successfully handled challenge for not only acting as software architect for the product but also work to conduct weekly alignment meetings and project co-ordination with project managers, product managers and teams in France, UK, Netherland and Belgium. The complete tool was developed in a record time of 1 year and used to demonstrated CG2900 at Mobile world congress in Barcelona 2010.

Worked on Nomadik mobile application processor (ARM based SOC)serving internal and external customers. All internal projects I did, focused on reducing third party tool and software dependence. Audio test bench, USB based solution to semihosting, protocol tracing tool eliminated dependence on third party hardware and software. Also directly served external customers like Samsung, LG , Nokia for their mobile phone products. Optimized the flashing mechanism for Nokia which help saved 5 sec per mobile phone for Nokia production line. Was awarded one of the highest corporate award for my work with LG in launching first S60 mobile phone to market.
