About

After success in business sales and management, I began my career in education with Dallas ISD. I spent over a decade in the classroom, multiple years mentoring teachers, and lead the science department as a campus instructional coach. I updated district-wide curriculum guides and semester exams. I facilitated professional development sessions at both campus and district levels. Moving into a central office position as a calibration facilitator, I trained administrators and classroom observers on how to effectively score teacher evaluations and conduct coaching conversations. With all of these experiences, I transitioned to my current position as an assistant principal where some of my duties include overseeing data-driven instruction, maintaining a safe campus environment, and nurturing campus culture and climate.
