During my time at The Tab many of my stories were the most shared of the month, with many of them reaching over 50,000 views. I managed to keep up with a busy office environment, publishing 1-2 articles daily. I used SEO to optimise articles for Google search. Sourcing original news stories from Twitter and other social media platforms.

As the Lifestyle Editor I lead a large team, including three Sub-Editors. I created, developed, and commissioned articles weekly, editing returned articles prior to publication. I laid up the Lifestyle section with InDesign for print and Wordpress for online, editing images on Photoshop, and co-ordinating Courier writers through social media (Twitter, Facebook).

Provided support for the production office during pre-production of the feature film ‘Lies We Tell’.

At The Sunday Times I contributed to a number of articles including a front page investigation into Amazon price fixing, an exploration of Ticketmaster's additional fees and Ticketmaster premium.

I was put in charge of Stylist Live's social media accounts to promote their fashion convention. I also contacted various bloggers and got them to promote our content on their digital platforms and made sure the campaign was catered to their target audience.

Here I acted as the features intern for Stylist Magazine. I researched to a number of articles and contributed to a piece on female Olympians at Rio. I also attended an exclusive listening session for Norah Jones's new album at Ronnie Scott's on behalf of the Stylist team.

Researched two stories for the BBC prime time series ‘Oxford Street Revealed' which featured on television. Contributed ideas at development meetings, sat in on an editing session and filled out music clearance forms.

Worked with the research team on a ‘Dispatches’ programme.Contributed programme ideas at ideas meetings which were researched and developed. Uncovered footage for a series of taster films for commissioners. Helped producers with fact checking and rushes logging.

I received a first class grade for my dissertation entitled 'To what extent does Young Thug forge a territory for becoming other in Hip Hop?’ Focusing on issues regarding race, music and popular culture, in the essay I applied the philosophy of Giles Deleuze and Felix Guttari to investigate how Thug’s warbling rapping style creates a space for marginalised voices in the heteronormative sphere of pop music.
