I’m the Founder and a private equity investor at HOSEKI MAP Company Limited, where we invest our own capital into businesses and founders we believe can grow into quality listed companies on major U.S. exchanges such as Nasdaq and NYSE. Our role is not to be consultants. We are principals – we commit capital, take ownership positions, and stay invested through the listing process and beyond. Over the past few years, our investments have led to: Taking one of our portfolio companies public in the U.S. within 3 years. Acquiring an IoT company in 2021 and supporting its successful listing on the Nasdaq main board in 2025. Our investment philosophy is simple but not easy: We do what Warren Buffett did in his early days – carefully select outstanding businesses as M&A targets, acquire significant stakes, and hold them for the long term. We focus on real value creation, market capitalization growth, and disciplined portfolio construction, not short-term price speculation. We are willing to step into complex situations, accept the “pain” of the listing journey ourselves, and use that experience to make better investment and portfolio decisions.
