I have been a freelance writer in the fields of educational and trade publishing for 34 years. We are on a new venture in self-publishing on CreateSpace, a subsidiary of Amazon. I have, with the help of designer/illustrator, Tyler Miranda, republished three of my out-of-print titles. We are translating these into Spanish with the help of translator extrodinaire, Evan Miranda. It's a family project. We are in the process of developing new titles and will have a new book ready for publication before July..

International Newcomers Club of Madrid
I was the President of the International Newcomers Club of Madrid from 2000-2002. During that time the INC board, under my direction and with the help of Vice presidents, Lila Anderson, Anna Salas, and Shannon Maher Wallis, increased club membership from 72 to over 250. We took steps to make our organization a legally recognised entity in Spain. I have served on the Board of INC in other capacities. This year 2010-2011, I will be the club's Co-ex-officio.
