* Identified key events for company to participate in to promote the drinks business. * Planned and implemented a successful golf day. * Focus market included South African companies, hotel groups, health clubs, spas and catering companies. Successes included acquiring contracts with prestigious clients, The Savoy and Hilton.

Ukkasie was the largest South African Art and Music Festival outside the borders of South Africa. I was one of the organisers of the event and my portfolio was marketing. I started off as a committee member and in my last two years I was the Marketing Director. My responsibilities over the years included marketing the event to the South Africans in the UK. I managed a committee who assisted me with mainly leaflet and poster distribution. The Royal Albert Hall show (2004) however was not exclusively for South Africans so I had to market this to the general public in London, this involved media liaison with local press and designing and placing advertisements in local newspapers. I had to coordinate all press and visiting TV crews from South Africa and local as well as South African photographers at the event. I was also responsible for putting together welcoming packs and press packs, this included compiling information on all visiting musicians and sponsors involved with the event. The festival was a success and over the years thousands of South Africans supported the events.

Interviewed, enrolled and managed all new students who signed up to the Body Control Pilates Teacher Training programme. Prepared course materials and starter packs. Coordinated communications with the education team. Body Control Pilates is one of the best and most sought after Pilates teaching qualifications in the UK. They run an average of 16 Matwork Teacher training courses per annum and train up to 13 students in each group.
